A gorgeous, well carved antique cameo brooch circa 1880. Depicting the goddess Flora or Chloris, the goddess of springtime and flowers.The mounting is uneven, typical for the period. The metal mounting looks to be silver, but it is unmarked so I cannot tell if it's sterling or 800.
