Classic Evans Decoy Factory Canvasback Hen, Standard Grade, Ladysmith, Wisconsin. Approx. 15 inches long, solid-body wood construction with hollow front. Retains its original lead strip ballast weight attached with brass/copper hardware and leather line anchor. Factory-stamped “EVANS DECOY” on underside. Original glass eyes intact. Appears to retain its original factory paint with attractive age patina and honest gunning wear throughout. Shows a small surface chip on the upper back from age and handling but no structural cracks or repairs. Light hunter’s ownership brand “MR B” visible on the back. From a collector and accompanied by a collector’s identification log noting a prior appraisal (for reference only).
