Early 1900’s Enterprise No.5 Cast Iron 2 Quart Sausage Stuffer/Fruit Press RareOnly one of this model on all of ! This cast iron piece was made by Enterprise Manufacturing Co. in Philadelphia, PA at the turn of the last century. This 2 Quart Model No. 5 was the smallest size offered by Enterprise. What makes this machine uncommon is the unique vertical worm-gear drive housed inside a narrow cross-arch. The gears work smoothly and move freely with the crank handle. Other than some fading, all the factory stenciling looks to be intact and the iron plates, the metal strainer basket and on the outer metal nozzle stuffer horn with the ring collar intact. It has natural wear from age and use from some scratches to paint loss, but has no touch ups or repairs. Measures approx. 20” tall, 13” from the handle to nozzle & base 6 3/4” from leg to leg. It weighs 19 lbs! This is not a model sausage stuffer that comes up often, and would look great on a shelf or in a kitchen!
