Up for sale is an incredibly rare, French Art Deco novelty cocktail/hors d'oeuvres pick holder from the 1930s. This striking piece of Prohibition-era barware features a beautifully stylized, cubist figure of a sailor leaning casually against a harbor mooring bollard.While unsigned (standard practice for boutique artisan workshop pieces of this era), this highly collectible piece is crafted in the distinct style and manner of prestigious 1930s Parisian designers like Raymond Sudre.Design Motif: Modernist Cubist "Sailor Leaning on Dock Bollard"Exquisite Craftsmanship & Material Details:

• Figurine Body, Bollard & Base: Masterfully hand-carved from premium, dark-grained Macassar ebony wood with a smooth, rich finish.
• The Sailor's Cap: Features a flat, stylized white sailor hat topped with a vibrant cherry-red pompom (resembling a traditional French navy bâche cap).
• The Bollard Detailing: The harbor post is intricately wrapped in a heavy, twisted copper wire to mimic a dock rope.
