This listing is for Dwarf Cutleaf Forsythia plants that range in size between 4 and 10 inches in height. These plants are grown from cuttings taken from plants grown at our nursery.
The plant you will receive will be between these ranges of size as there will be slight differences from the photos in the listing as no two plants are the same. They will be guaranteed vibrant and healthy and ready for transplanting. We DO NOT ship with the pot as the pot allows for too much soil moisture evaporation. It will be securely adhered to the package wall for the safest shipping method possible.
This shrub is native to China and South Korea and is now quite popular in the Midwest and Eastern United States. Dwarf Cutleaf Forsythia is just what it sounds like, a dwarf forsythia shrub with serrated leaves. This cultivar was grown from a Japanese seed source at the Bronx Botanical Garden in New York in 1939.
We grow everything organically with a beneficial insect program. We do not use chemical fertilizers, pesticides or fungicides. We use a preventive program for pests with the use of Ladybugs, Green Lacewings, Praying Mantis, and Predatory Mites to battle soft bodied bugs and Nematodes in the soil to combat any soil dwelling pests. Plants are alive and can be affected in all sorts of ways while in transit. The shipping process will undoubtedly be the most stressful situation that the plant will go through. We do everything possible to make sure the quality of the plant does not suffer during shipment.
We guarantee that the plant you receive will be as described in the above listing. Every plant is a little bit different. There will be variations in size and shape, but always within the parameters that are established in the body of this listing. The quality will always be represented to the fullest.
Once the plant is received, it needs immediate care. If you are questioning the quality of the plant, immediately take photos and contact us. If the plant looks good and healthy, proceed to make sure the roots receive air and the soil watered. Do not subject the plant to direct sunlight, instead allow a 12- to 24-hour adjustment period.Transplant shock is a real thing. Be aware of it and take steps to alleviate it.It takes most plants 1 to 2 weeks\' time to fully transition to their new environment.

Photos of the plant as it arrived, along with the packaging materials are requested and requires for verification purposes.
