Dragon Armor Tiger I Early Production with Zimmerit
No. 60108, Vintage year - 2006, Scale - 1:72
Unit - unidentified but probably sPzAbt 502 - Heavy Panzer Battalion that was one of the most successful, fighting in France from June 1944 - September 1944, Germany from September 1944-March 1945 and on the Eastern Front from March 1945 to May 1945. It was redesignated as the 511th Abt. in Jan. 1945 and was issued a mix of Tiger Is, Tiger IIs and Hetzers. It was originally comprised of 51 Tiger Is and suffered a total of 45 combat losses (and 6 transfers out).
Campaign - Germany 1945
Markings - Tan, dark brown and dark green camouflage with No. 111 in white outline on turret sides and rear. Cross on lower hull.
Model - Tiger I Early Production with Zimmerit - originally called the Ausf. H1, it was redesignated as the Ausf. E in March 1943. It was also called the Mark VI-E or the Panzer VI-E (as well as its more technical name - Sd.Kfz. 181).
Condition - new with some shelf wear on box.
