The best way to store your Shellac is in itsdry flake state. If it is stored in a cool dry place, its shelf life can be up to many years.Warmth will cause the flakes to stick together.I personally grind my shellac into a fine powder with an inexpensive coffee grinder prior to mixing to speed the process.Please mix your shellac with a high grade alcohol.This will ensure a great finish without blotching.Stir frequently until dissolved.
