For standard 3/4" NPT pipe thread, its actual outer thread diameter is around 1.05 inches, which visually looks close to 1 inch. This is a fixed industry standard size, not a dimension error. The valve perfectly matches standard 3/4" (DN20) household plumbing allow 1-5mm errors due to manual measurement.
