Against the advice of many, I began selling vintage stereoon almost a decade ago. It’s been great fun, I’ve made some new friendsand have gotten to enjoy at least one example of every vintage stereo pieceever made (at least for a while!). Problems are few. Unlike other categories, vintage audio people are a very honest, reasonable, (andoccasionally forgiving) lot. And you’ll find me a fair-minded person to dealwith. This space operates best on mutual reasonableness. There are minor imperfectionsin almost every 40-60 year old piece of gear, and occasionally I might fail tomention a small flaw or miss one feature or another during testing-- and mostunderstand that. Since you can’t pre-listen to an item in your home anddetermine how it sounds with your speakers, I do make all items returnable—onthe buyer’s dime. Every piece is invisibly marked. Returns are checked toensure I’m getting exact same item backand there are no missing parts. Non-conforming returns are reported to .But like I said— we swim in very honest waters and “switcheroo” return attemptshave happened only a handful of times in 20000+ sales.
