Presenting the classic computer game Cosmology of Kyoto 1994 for Mac. This was purchased new at the time and only slightly used. All packaging appears in excellent condition with just the slightest evidence of handling. The instruction sheet includes a hand written note at the top for how to exit the game. For those not familiar, this game gives the feeling of a first person exploration of the medieval Japanese city of Kyoto around the 10th or 11th century. You wander through the city and encounter situations, which at first may be difficult to understand, but become part of the learning process. The dialogue is in Japanese with English subtitles. There is no linear progression to the game, since the focus is the experience of an ancient way of life in the back streets of Kyoto. The game exposes the player to various Japanese myths and legends, Buddhist philosophy and period characters. A map of the city is included with the documentation and helps with the navigation of the many streets.
