Cosmetics: Excellent structural condition for its age. The black chased hard rubber (ebonite) barrel features a clean, deeply impressed manufacturer imprint reading \"CRESCENT-FILLER TOLEDO, OHIO, U.S.A.\" with the March 17, 1903 patent date clearly legible. The chased wave pattern has strong texture and very minimal oxidation.Mechanism: The model number \"25P\" is stamped clearly on the flat end of the barrel. The original metal crescent and hard rubber locking ring are fully intact. The locking ring rotates smoothly.Restoration Note: The pen is being sold unrestored / as-is. The original internal latex ink sac has dried out and shriveled over time, which means the metal crescent currently sits loosely inside the slot. It will require a standard, routine internal ink sac replacement to be fully functional.Nib: Features the original Conklin NIB.
