CHURCHILL and FINLAND
A study in anticommunism and geopoliticsFinnish historian Markku Ruotsila opens his excellent book with a clear subject statement: “This book examines the intertwined dynamics of Churchill’s anti-communism and geopolitical thought” (p.i). Ruotsila uses the Churchill-Finnish relationship to describe and explain Churchill’s geostrategic interests and anticommunism. A major strength of this study is the length of time covered. The Churchill-Finnish relationship started in 1919 and continued until the early Cold War.

This book is part of a large collection of WWII airplanes, figures, and books, collected by a parent who was an 82nd Airborne Ranger. He was an avid collector, as well as a historian. I have many more books not yet listed and civil war diorama figures. All items have been stored in a smoke free environment.
