Vintage Carter Family Victor 78 RPM Records – Set of 2
Set of 2 vintage 10-inch 78 RPM shellac records featuring the legendary Carter Family.
These are early Victor recordings from the late 1920s and are wonderful examples of early country and old-time music. The Carter Family's early Victor recordings helped establish their career and are an important part of the history of country music.
Record #1 – Victor 21638
Side A: “Will You Miss Me When I'm Gone?”
Side B: “Little Darling, Pal of Mine”
This record was recorded in 1928 and features the Carter Family singing with guitar and autoharp. Victor 21638 was released in late 1928.
Record #2 – Victor V-40089
Side A: “Engine One-Forty-Three”
Side B: “I'm Thinking Tonight of My Blue Eyes”
This record was released in 1929 and is another early Carter Family Victor recording.
Condition
Both records are in verygood condition for their age.
