Format Coverage: 4x5, 5x7 (no movements), 6x9cm, and 6x7cm Medium Format

Up for sale is a legendary, factory-selected Carl Zeiss Biogon 75mm f/4.5 lens, bearing the highly coveted red \"Linhof\" signature engraving on the front chrome ring. Designed by the master optician Ludwig Bertele, this symmetrical 10-element lens is renowned among architectural and landscape photographers for its extreme resolution, edge-to-edge sharpness, and virtually zero linear distortion.

OPTICS / GLASS

• Rear Element : Peripheral Back Element light scratches / Does not effect image quality
• Front Element is Clean and clear / free of chips / May Show light dust

• Internal Glass: No fungus, no separation, no heavy haze. Standard microscopic vintage dust present, which does not affect image quality.

MECHANICAL / SHUTTER

• Shutter Type: Integrated Synchro-Compur / Compur leaf shutter.

Shutter Speeds Fires smoothly at all speeds. Slow speeds (1s to 1/10s) sound accurate to the ear Speeds are untested and may stick slightly and require a standard CLA

• Aperture Ring & Blades: Blades are dry, free of oil, and snappy. The aperture ring rotates smoothly

COSMETICS

• Lens Barrel: Excellent cosmetic condition with light paint wear on the edges, consistent with careful age and use. Please refer to photos

Mounting: Mounted on a standad Linhof Technika lens board.
