This is a string-bound portfolio of photographs ofthe Canadian Pacific Rockies from around 1910. The photographshave a beautiful sepia tone and lots of detail. SCenes include Canadian National Park at Banff, Victoria, Vancouver,Field British Columbia, Alta.
There are 24 pages of photos.Each print is tipped onto thick textured gray paper by the top. The page measures11x9 inches (28 x23 cm). The full-page photos measure approximately8 x6 inches (20 x15 cm).
Produced by the Albertype Company as a set of mechanical photogravure prints. It is undated, but the height of the Albertype company were the mid to late 1890s and the cars look c1910.
