Early-production CRKT M18-14 Carson Design featuring an AUS-8 stainless steel blade with partially serrated/combo edge. Designed by legendary custom knifemaker Kit Carson, this discontinued M18 is from the earlier era of CRKT production and includes its original box and 2001 CRKT literature.Excellent example of the CRKT M18-14, designed by legendary knifemaker Kit Carson. This is an older, discontinued Columbia River Knife & Tool model featuring the distinctive Carson design, large partially serrated blade, dual thumb studs/flipper and black handle inserts.This example is in excellent condition and appears unused, retaining a clean factory edge with no evidence of sharpening. Includes the original CRKT/Columbia River Knife & Tool box with the period Cutlery Corner label identifying it as “M18-14K Black 5” Comboed,” along with the original 2001 CRKT product literature shown in the photos.A particularly nice example for a collector of early CRKT and Kit Carson designs. These older M18-series knives are becoming considerably harder to find complete with their original packaging and paperwork.Condition: Excellent / appears unused
