Nicknamed \"the painter of the light,\' his compositions are born of his permanent spiritual search for the world in which we live. He fixes on his canvases images of a strong intensity between realism and abstraction. Virtuoso colors, he does not need to play with chiaroscuro effects to make his paintings bright.

This child of Italian immigrants, whose parents left Mussolini\'s fascist Italy, built his life in the Mediterranean city of Marseille, the city of a thousand colors, with unique lights and reflections of this enchanted Provence...

For Claude, color is the essence of his painting. He who, as he likes to say with his musical accent and this softness in his voice, makes his painting sing with his colors. Moreover, he does not really consider himself a painter, but more precisely, a colorist painter. Because his sensitivity is heightened by primary hues, these subtleties of nuances.
