Bear in mind that tonnage is reached when powered by hydraulic fluid at 10,000 PSI (700 Bar).NOTE:your pump or power unit can be powered / fed by air, electric or fossil fuels, however the oil output must be 10,000 to achieve max tonnage. The cylinder will work fine at lower PSI, however the tonnage will be lower.Each 1,000 PSI is almost same in Tonnage (Approx.) E.g.2,000 = approx. 2.2 tons.
NOTE: Your hydraulic hose supply must be “True Jack Hose” 10,000 PSI – 700 Bar with a minimum 2 – 1 safety factor so working pressure @ 10,000 and burst pressure would be at @ 20,000.
