The book contains descriptions of shipboard life, drills, battle practice in Subic Bay,and accounts of the places and people visited at exotic ports. It also has a detailed depiction of the initiation of pollywogs on crossing the equator. C. Aloysius Stumpf c1930s On a Cruise with the U.S. Pacific Fleet to the Orient C.
