TITLE: GOLDEN RETREAT
To the best of my knowledge, this painting was done live as the televised lesson for PBS, \"Painting with Paulson.\" It is hand painted with professional artists\' oil paints. This was done for Series 14 and taped in the fall of 2013 at the studios in Fargo, ND. At that time, I purchased it from Mr. Paulson. It was still wet. The video of him painting this may be available from PBS in Fargo, but I am not sure.
Featured is a stunning forest landscape on a stretched canvas. It is signed in front and also on the back, where Mr. Paulson included personal greetings to me. We have known each other for many years. He is a famous artist, working along side Bill Alexander and many other television greats. He has given painting lessons both here and abroad. Galleries in Hawaii, California, etc. have featured and are featuring his work.
Shown is the best representation of the colors that I can get. I have placed the painting on a white background for the images and have included a photo of it with a color wheel. Included also find numerous images taken with different camera settings to provide an accurate description. Remember that monitors display images differently, and images vary with the quality of light. These photos were taken inside in overhead reflected light.
