Matching teal cloth bindings with gilt spine lettering. An important scholarly reference containing chronological records of Roman officials, commands and commissions. This work was originally published in two volumes, followed by a separate supplementary volume in 1960; that later separate volume is not included.
Condition:
Good vintage condition overall. Covers show shelf wear, rubbing, fading and bumped or worn corners. Pages have age-related toning and occasional spotting. Volume I has separation and exposed material along the front interior hinge, as pictured, but the cover remains attached. No dust jackets. No obvious writing or highlighting was noticed, but every page was not individually inspected. Please review all photographs for condition.
