The Super Station Wagon was aglorious failure. Designed by Richard Arbib this enormous vehicle was based onthe Henney ambulance and was equipped with every luxury. Packard didn’t like itat all and the proposed price of $10,000 ensured there were no takers. The oneprototype was the victim of an arson attack in 1963.
