Summary: Bought these for a 77 Camro that I lowered 2 inches in the front. Had to do some minor adjustments with a grinding wheel on the lower mounts on both. The reason for the adjustment is the t bracket is too big to fit up into the lower A arm couple minutes of grinding on the corners and they fit perfectly. The shock itself overall seemed pretty stout and fit well after my adjustment. Would not have done the adjustment if I felt it would effect the safety and or the use of the shock.
