Bound album of handwritten copies of Beethoven piano music, on Al Paradiso watermarked paper associated with Pescia/Magnani. My watermark research matches reference examples dated 1811–1818. The volume is believed to be early nineteenth century; the exact date of copying is not established.
Section titles include Sonata Op. 10 No. 1, a sonata labeled Op. 31 No. 2, the Waldstein Sonata Op. 53, a piano arrangement of Coriolan, and another sonata labeled Op. 29/31. Attractive handwritten notation and calligraphic title pages.
The copyist is unidentified. This is offered as manuscript copies of Beethoven's compositions; it is not represented as Beethoven's own handwriting or as having belonged to him.
