New and unused, out of an opened factory poly bag. Nothing is missing: six socket-head bolts and three curved retaining straps are included, the complete set for the six-hole front (transfer case) flange. The four-bolt rear flange yoke reuses the bolts already on the axle, so none are supplied for that end - that is normal for this part.

One-piece steel tube in black anti-corrosion paint. The front end is a constant-velocity joint under a ribbed rubber boot, ending in a round six-bolt flange; the rear end is a universal joint with a four-bolt flange yoke.
Measured here on the bench: 32.5 inches overall from the front flange face to the tip of the rear yoke, front flange 4 inches across, tube 2 inches across.
The front driveshaft carries drive from the transfer case to the front axle, so this is a four-wheel-drive part. A worn one shows up as a vibration, a clunk on take-up, or a rumble that changes with road speed.
