BOQS: Bolt-On, Quick Swap.An advanced bolt-on mudguard system designed for:
V4 of the BOQS system features a fully redesigned fender and a simplified connection with a single upper tab that makes attaching and detaching the fender faster and easier.
The strap hooks on the mount are refined to ensure the optimal balance of secure attachment and detachment. Two included stainless steel M4 bolts attach the mount to the fork arch, except for the RXF34 version which uses two included zip ties for the mount.
The fender is thinner overall, tapers towards the edges, and eliminates any extraneous features on its visible surface, creating a super-clean appearance.
Each BOQS mudguard mount for Öhlins forks has a unique form factor to maintain ideal fitment against the fork arch and lowers.
Each BOQS component is FDM manufactured (“3D printed”) with materials and processes that are optimized for their function:
- The mount is made of carbon-filled Nylon which is ideal for stiffness and strength, whereas the fender features a thin layer of PETG sandwiched between outer layers of TPU, creating just enough flexibility to attach and detach while remaining stiff and highly durable when curved into position.
