ADDING AN EXTRA KEY
For an additional key, please ship us:
- Your CAS module
- At least one currently working key
We will use the information stored in your CAS module to prepare and program the additional key.
ALL KEYS LOST
If you no longer have any working keys, please send:
- CAS module
- DME / Engine ECU
Where is CAS module located?
Under the driver side dash, message me for removal videos on most models.
KEY TYPE
We use high-quality aftermarket replacement key fobs.
These keys do not include a BMW logo.
COMFORT ACCESS
Please let us know whether your vehicle is equipped with Comfort Access.
A vehicle with Comfort Access will normally have a touch-sensitive area, ridged section, or button on the exterior door handle that allows keyless locking/unlocking.
Cutting the emergency blade is included in the key price. If all keys are lost, I will cut the blade using the key information stored in the CAS3 module. If the door lock or lock cylinder is not original, please send the door lock cylinder together with the CAS3 module and DME.
Chippy Auto Locksmith is not responsible for packages that are lost, delayed, or damaged while in transit. Customers are responsible for securely packaging all modules, keys, and other items before shipping. Any item that arrives physically damaged, improperly packaged, or damaged during transportation may require additional repair and is not covered as part of the purchased service.
Modern vehicles contain multiple interconnected electronic and mechanical systems. Our service is performed based on the information and diagnosis provided by the customer. If the requested programming service is completed correctly but does not resolve the vehicle\'s original problem due to an incorrect diagnosis, unrelated vehicle fault, wiring issue, defective module, or other existing condition, the service fee is not refundable.
We are responsible only for the specific service described in this listing. We cannot be held responsible for pre-existing vehicle problems or unrelated issues that may occur before or after the service is performed.
