BEAUTIFUL ESTATE /late Victorian- Edwardian oval locket era 1837-1901.
This historical locket features a rare antique photo of a lady actually wearing this locket.
Metal is unmarked and sold as quality vintage gold shell/filled with a warm patina. Rolled gold was a typical way lockets were made during this Era and unmarked. In the photos you can see where there is a base metal and rolled /Filled ,gold on the outside. Unknown purity. Raised lip around the edge looks like a different rosey gold color.

The DOVE on the front goes around but stays where you put it and has been repaired a very long time ago.
