Vintage Athearn HO Scale Union Pacific #70 Diesel Locomotive
Offered for sale is a vintage Athearn HO scale Union Pacific diesel locomotive, road number 70, in the classic Union Pacific yellow and gray paint scheme.
This is the large articulated-style DD40/DD40X-type locomotive with dual trucks at each end and the distinctive multiple-fan roof configuration.

CONDITION:
This locomotive is UNTESTED. I do not have the appropriate setup to test its operation, so its mechanical/operating condition is unknown and no representation is being made as to whether it currently runs.
Cosmetically, the locomotive presents well for its age with normal vintage wear, dust and signs of previous handling/use. Please note that some of the end handrails show bending/distortion.
No attempt has been made to repair, straighten, lubricate or otherwise service the locomotive.
