Atari Jaguar cartridge adapter for the OSCR / Open Source Cartridge Reader, intended for use with compatible V5 / V3 OSCR setups.
This adapter allows the OSCR to interface with Atari Jaguar cartridges when used with the appropriate Jaguar cartridge connector and properly configured OSCR firmware.
IMPORTANT — Jaguar Cartridge Connector Is NOT Included
This listing does NOT include the Atari Jaguar cartridge/card-edge connector.
Original-style Jaguar cartridge connectors are difficult to source and availability can vary considerably.
This adapter is intended primarily for builders who already have a suitable Jaguar connector and are comfortable soldering it to the adapter PCB.
If you would like me to try to source a Jaguar cartridge connector for you, please contact me. I may be able to supply one for an additional cost, but availability is not guaranteed and sourcing one may add additional time to the order.
Replaceable Jumper Connection
Instead of permanently soldering a loose wire between the required connection points, I use a removable Dupont jumper wire.
The reason is simple: a permanently soldered flying wire is eventually vulnerable to being bent, pulled, or broken.
With the Dupont jumper, if the wire is ever damaged it can simply be replaced instead of requiring the adapter to be repaired or reworked with a soldering iron.
It also makes assembly, servicing, and storage considerably easier.

Assembly Required
You will need to provide and solder your own compatible Atari Jaguar cartridge connector/card-edge connector to the adapter.
This is a specialty hobbyist product intended for people familiar with electronics assembly, soldering, and the OSCR platform.
OSCR cartridge reader, Atari Jaguar cartridge, and Jaguar cartridge connector are not included.
