Striking early 20th century handmade copper and wood box, dating approximately 1910–1930. Constructed with hand-worked sheet copper over a wood box, featuring hammered texture, visible rivets, decorative strap details, an oversized hinged lid, and a contrasting applied plaque with a stylized “N.”
The construction and geometric ornament strongly reflect the Arts & Crafts / Mission / Craftsman movement, with an emphasis on visible handwork and honest materials. Beautiful deep aged copper patina throughout.
Measures approximately 7” wide. Good antique condition with oxidation, surface wear, scratches, small bends and irregularities consistent with age and handmade construction.
