Antique late 19th to early 20th century solid mahogany two-tier dumbwaiter table, likely dating to approximately 1890–1910. It features two graduated round scalloped pie-crust tops, an elaborately turned and ringed central pedestal, and three gracefully curved reeded cabriole legs with distinctive decorative metal foot caps. The overall design is Georgian/Chippendale-inspired, with solid-wood construction.
The table retains its original aged character. The top tier has significant edge damage, including separation and lifting of the scalloped edge molding in areas, with exposed material and localized loss. Both tabletops also show extensive finish wear, scratches, abrasions, and discoloration consistent with age and use. The underside has an old hand-applied construction mark. Please review the condition carefully.
The base remains an especially distinctive feature, with its substantial turned pedestal, reeded cabriole legs, and decorative metal foot caps. This would work well as an antique accent or occasional table, serving table, or display piece.
