Antique Victorian/Eastlake architectural door-hardware lot, believed to date from approximately the late 1800s to early 1900s.
This mixed lot includes ornate recessed pocket-door pulls, skeleton-key escutcheon plates, mortise lock mechanisms, decorative faceplates and assorted related pieces. At least one lock displays the RH Co. mark associated with Reading Hardware Company. Other pieces may be from different manufacturers.
The decorative hardware features elaborate floral and scrollwork patterns with remnants of original plated finishes.
CONDITION:
All pieces are being sold unrestored and exactly as pictured. They have substantial surface rust, oxidation, finish loss, dirt, scratches and general age-related wear. The lock mechanisms have not been tested. The lot contains incomplete and possibly unmatched sets. No operating keys, doorknobs or mounting screws are included unless clearly pictured.
Suitable for restoration, replacement parts, historic-home projects, architectural salvage, displays or steampunk artwork.
