Antique Pickard Vase 13" Hand Painted Fruit Signed Vokral Etched China Mark 9 For Sale

Up for sale is an exceptional, museum-quality American art porcelain presentation vase from the historic Pickard Studios of Chicago. Standing at an impressive 13 inches tall, this substantial twin-handled prestige piece is hand-painted and signed by master decorator Jeremiah Vokral (1876–1932). The central reserve features a meticulously executed, naturalistic fruit still-life of ripening peaches and cherries, framed by an expansive body of heavily encrusted, acid-etched 24k gold. A striking, stylized Art Nouveau geometric border in deep cobalt blue rings the top collar, providing a beautiful two-tone contrast.The underside bears the highly desirable "Pickard Etched China" backstamp (Mark 9), which strictly dates the production of this piece to a brief three-year window between 1919 and 1922. Large-scale, handled Pickard items from this era are incredibly rare to find intact due to their fragile nature.
