Antique Pedal Forged Iron Frame 17\" Stone Wheel Grinder Sharpener Yard Ornament For Sale

This Primitive, handmade and hand forged, antique pedal grinder sharpener features a large 17\" stone wheel (cracked) that was once used for sharpening tools and has now acted as a yard ornament in Southern Indiana for over 60 years. Before that, it was used regularly for sharpening tools on the same farm. It dates to the late 1800\'s to the early 1900\'s. It was made to fold up for traveling. The seat and one of the pedals are loose as I haven\'t found the correct rusty bolts to replace with of the same age. The Frame is wrought iron, some hand forged, some made from scrap pieces, giving it a rustic Americana style. This unique piece originates from the US-Midwest, showcasing the craftsmanship and design of a bygone era. Its red brown color from the rusted iron and originality make it a standout addition to any antique or primitive collection.

It can be shipped but it is a large item as it doesnt fold as it used to. And it is heavy, so expect shipping to be high but I will use whatever method is cheapest, usually UPS for an item of this size and weight. As with all my items, it can be picked up locally in 40216 to avoid shipping charges.
