This antique metal bowl is believed to be a Turkish hammam (bathhouse) bowl, likely dating to the 19th century Ottoman period. The bowl features hand-chased and repoussé decoration throughout, including a raised central boss surrounded by alternating circular and floral motifs, with scrolling vegetal and floral ornamentation extending across the interior and exterior walls.
