Antique figural creamer is an authentic piece of late-Victorian craftsmanship, produced by the prestigious Mintons pottery of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England.
Masterfully molded from fine white glazed porcelain, the pitcher is designed in the charming form of a seated, textured feline. The functional design seamlessly integrates the pouring spout into the cat's chest and head, while its elegantly arched tail forms a sturdy, comfortable looped handle.
The pristine white body is beautifully highlighted by hand-applied gilt gold accents along the upper rim, tail-handle, and textured base details.
The underside of the piece displays the authentic green underglaze Mintons crowned globe stamp. Because it lacks the "England" country-of-origin mark mandated after 1891, this highly collectible piece can be confidently dated between 1873 and 1890.
