Antique Limoges France Hand Painted Poppy Plate Art Nouveau W Guerin Signed \"OD\"This is a hand-painted antique plate with a striking, vivid red poppy floral design outlined in a dark green black border.This is a unique studio or hobbyist porcelain piece from the peak of the Art Nouveau movement.The plate features an underglaze green factory stamp that indicates this was a factory \"whiteware\" plate that came from William Guerin & Co (or Elite Works/ Bawo & Dotter), dating the porcelain blank to circa 1891-1914. These were used by artist to create the hand-painted art. There is a hand-painted red studio monogram \'O.D.\' initials on the back that probably was the artist initials.
