This unusual late-19th-century silver-plated piece features a seated young boy or jockey wearing a large cap and holding a ball between his legs. He sits above an arched napkin holder decorated on both sides with detailed embossed and engraved floral designs.

The piece retains an attractive aged surface with darkened patina, scratches, tarnish and areas of silver-plate wear consistent with its considerable age. The figural detail and floral decoration remain very appealing. Please review all photographs closely for condition.
