Antique J.W. PANKHURST HANLEY England Ironstone Storage Crock, No Lid c. 1850. Date based on mark on bottom of piece, placing its manufacture sometime between 1850 and 1852. Nice, raised decorative floral vines running around the perimeter of the crock. Nice, heavy and solid feel. Would make charming storage or vase in a farmhouse or antique theme home decor. Good antique condition, considering its age of approximately 175 years. Brown staining, especially around handles. No visible cracks or chips to my eye. Some flea bites. See pictures.
