Beautiful antique Haviland Limoges France porcelain tray, dating to approximately the late 1890s–early 1900s.Measuring approximately 10” × 7” x 1/4” high, this unusual Haviland piece features an elaborate asymmetrical Rococo-style molded border with scrolling and shell-like details accented in gold.The floral decoration is especially lovely, featuring a naturalistic spray of white daisies with yellow centers and soft green foliage. The flowers have distinctive raised, textured detailing, giving the petals wonderful dimension. The surrounding foliage shows delicate hand-painted details in shades of green, soft pink and golden yellow.The underside bears a faint but recognizable green Haviland France Limoges maker’s mark. The elaborate molded form and decoration make this much more distinctive than standard Haviland dinnerware.Very good antique condition considering its age. There is expected wear and loss to the original gold decoration, particularly along the raised edges, as shown in the photographs. The underside shows age-related discoloration and wear.
