Up for sale is a stunning piece of American glassmaking history: an original 1890s Early American Pressed Glass (EAPG) water pitcher/tankard manufactured by the McKee Glass Company.This elegant piece perfectly marries the bold, geometric texture of the \"Swirl & Ball\" base with a beautifully preserved, frosted acid-etched fern and foliage pattern around the body. The glass is incredibly clear and thick, showcasing the brilliant craftsmanship of the late Victorian era.Condition:Excellent antique condition. The clear glass remains bright and free of the common cloudy mineral staining (\"sick glass\") often found in pitchers of this age. The acid etching is crisp, vibrant, and well-defined. There are no major cracks or large chips. The rounded glass beads along the bottom base are remarkably smooth, showing only the lightest expected shelf wear/friction lines consistent with a 130-year-old piece.
