Original Antique Door Knob from 1885. Listing is for 1 knob. Nothing else included.This knob was manufactured for Chicagos City Hall # 6. Has been called the Boondoggle. Building was completed in 1885 and was demolished in 1905. Blumin identification is P-12620.Great piece of history that doesn\'t come to market often. Due to the length of time that has passed since the building was demolished, very few of these knobs have survived.Knob is made of brass or bronze (magnet does not stick).Knob is in nice condition with major damage and issues. The inside of the shank looks to be larger/wider than maybe it was originally - please see pictures. Minor imperfections and signs of use including some paint and/or oxidation - knob has not been cleaned. Please see pictures and ask questions prior to offerding or purchase.
