This is an antique Chinese Export porcelain armorial plate, likely dating from the late 19th century.
Reticulated Rim: The pierced/openwork "basketweave" border with cobalt blue enamel and red-striped accents is a classic feature of late 18th-century porcelain fruit stands, chestnut baskets, and display plates.
Central Armorial Crest: The center features a hand-painted coat of arms surmounted by a noble coronet, surrounded by a gilt floral wreath and bow-tied garland. Armorial porcelain was custom-ordered by wealthy European families, noblemen, or institutions, who sent drawn sketches of their crests to China to be hand-painted onto dinnerware.
Grapevine & Floral Border: The inner rim features a painted garland of grapes, leaves, and pink buds in polychrome enamels (Famille Rose palette).
Underside Construction: The unglazed foot rim, characteristic translucent white porcelain paste, and display hanger visible on the back are typical of antique cabinet plates prepared for wall hanging.
