Antique 19thC Victorian Chinoiserie Paper Mache, Cane, Buggy Whip, Glove Hooks
An Antique Victorian Chinoiserie Paper Mache wall Hooks. The Hooks have an Asian motif and are made of paper mache with gold highlights. The top hooks are probably for a Cane, Walking Stick or Buggy Whip and the bottom one for gloves or accessories. This is petite at 11 5/8\" wide x 11\" high, the two larger hooks on the top are 2 5/8\" deep. The Hooks would be perfect for jewelry. It is in good overall condition, the only thing to note is a shallow chip on the back, bottom edge which you wouldn\'t notice when it was used and flaking to the black finish on the thin top edge, see photos.
