Antique 19th Century Pennsylvania Redware Turk’s Head Cake Mold Brown Glaze:
$250.00
Antique 19th-century redware Turk’s Head cake or pudding mold, believed to date circa 1850–1890. Features a hand-formed deeply fluted design with center chimney, scalloped rim and striking mottled brown, amber and dark manganese-style glaze. A beautiful example of early American utilitarian pottery with wonderful primitive farmhouse character. Displays beautifully as an early kitchen collectible or Pennsylvania folk pottery piece. There is a notable chip/loss along the rim and expected age-related glaze wear/crazing as shown. Please review photos carefully for condition. Excellent antique display condition for its age.
