Beautiful and elegant antique Birks Art Deco bar pin / tie pin, dating to approximately the 1920s–1930s.
Made by the renowned Canadian jeweler Birks, this finely crafted piece features an intricate openwork filigree and geometric Art Deco design, accented with three natural diamonds individually set along the length of the pin.
The white-metal appearance is characteristic of period 14K white gold jewelry, which was especially popular during the Art Deco era. Comparable 1920s–30s 14K white-gold filigree bar pins were frequently decorated with natural diamonds and fine milgrain detailing.
The piece is exceptionally delicate and detailed, with floral openwork throughout and three diamond-set geometric sections.
