Beautiful very rare set of original 1920s - 1930s copper Art Deco Gatsby ornate bare bulb light fixtures. The fixtures have had new socket and wires installed and re-lacquered to protect the original gold gilding from further deteriorating and brighten/shine the natural patina Mother Nature provided over the last 100 years.
The lights work beautifully! NOTE- (The original sockets will be included for historical significance).
The fixtures overall are in very good structural condition with the typical aging and ware of an 100 plus year old finish,l. There are oval slotted manufactured holes within the fixtures where a pull string was designed to run through if needed.
In summary the lights were given exactly what was needed to function and to be admired and used for decades to come without disturbing the natural aging of over 100 years of service. The lights do have typical spots of age discoloration scattering throughout and minor antique cosmetic imperfections.
