This antique lidded powder box was made by the renowned factory Tressemann & Vogt (T&V) in the Limoges region of France between the late 1890s and 1907.
Tressemann & Vogt were renowned for exporting exceptional, translucent fine china to the American and European markets.
The round, pale pink porcelain dusting powder container features a classical Victorian-style cherubs (or putti) gathering flowers motif, surrounded by intricate raised gold gilt rococo scrolls and filigree frame details.
The powder puff and powder within were made by the luxury French fashion house Lanvin during the 1950s-1960s, the mid-20th-century golden era of cosmetic vanity sets.
The container measures 3\"H with a 6\" diameter at its widest and weighs 1.5 lbs.
