This extremely rare Pictoral History of The Civil War was first published in 1876. This edition was from 1881 with many additions. It is full of engravings depicting the great battles of the war, on land and at sea. The great general of the war are shown with accounts of their involvement in the war along with many first hand accounts of bravery in battle. For those who cherish this kind of history, it is an absolute necessity for their collection. I have only seen 3 copies of this book, none in as good a condition as this one.
